wtf srsly? you’re supposed to change from a title like halo 3: odst to halo 3: recon, not the other way around. if you’re going to go to the trouble of changing the name mid-stream, the change should probably be to something simpler. it’s not like nintendo started with the wii and changed it to the nintendo revolution action fun haptic virtualizer.
odst doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, you know? before it was going to be primarily referred to as recon among the fanbase, and that’s cool and simple and effective. now it’s going to be like H3:O or some shit. fuck that.
and their map names are crap too. ‘assembly’? please. purple reign is far more memorable, not to mention descriptive. i can understand dropping ‘jub jub’ in favor of whatever the fuck we made ka-blammo out of, but seriously, i can’t remember the real name and that’s our favorite map.
i’ll stick with halo 2: retcon, thanks.
