when i’m extravagantly rich i’m going to have a nice car or two sure, and a yacht of course (ideally a gigantic yacht with an oversized pool containing a much smaller yacht), and also the zeppelin.

but really, my guilty pleasure will be collecting tiny ultra-modern designer houses. i’ll have a tiny village on the grounds of my lakeside estate.

a blade dvd 4pack at target, $9.99 for all three movies and the tv pilot. i’m going to netflix the tv show, i’m sure it’s delightfully awful (some of it is written by geoff ‘blackest night’ johns!), but i already have all three movies, i’m not paying for blade again until it’s blade 2 on blu-ray. (although i totally bought the 3 3/4” marvel universe blade figure because hell yeah.)

moonlight, the complete series. a middling vampire show, with nothing much new to offer, but god damn is sophia myles a compelling screen presence.* she should really get better scripts than moonlight and outlander.

christmas albums by sting, enya, and sarah mclachlan. i went with the classics and picked up nat king cole and dean martin, but before i could decide between the other three i saw the new regina spektor cd and that was that. i’ll go back for them later to enhance my christmas playlist that i’m going to annoy my coworkers with.

the six inch scale tumbler from batman begins. it was $30 at freddies for six months, i never picked it up, sold out, figured i’d get the reissue for dark knight. that never happened, randomly big lots today had a stack of them for $20. which is a bit steep for something i’m just going to put a mcfarlane halo 3 spartan inside of. sure, that’d be awesome, but i’m not going to repaint it warthog green, you can’t see the driver when it’s sealed up, and if i’m modifying it in any way i’d rather work with the batpod i’ve been meaning to ebay for etc etc. also, seriously, make a warthog for the 5” spartans. even with mcfarlane crystalline engineering it’d make a sweet display piece. (or look awful, they lose their edge any larger than spawn’s cape…)

roughnecks - starship trooper chronicles: the zephyr campaign. five episodes of the squad marooned on a frozen asteroid in a crashed dropship. it was only $3, and i love that show, so that tells you how weak those episodes were. i did pick up the totally sweet hydora campaign (water planet!), as well as the replacement killers, tsui hark’s the vampire hunters, and four episodes of speed grapher. $3 dvds are like candy.

more ‘the twilight saga: new moon’ merchandise than i could recount.

the first ‘imperial commando’ novel by karen traviss, following the exploits of her republic commando clone squad under new management. very interested.

the pumpkin milkshake at jack in the box, although that’s primarily for lack of a cupholder on the bike. i would have gotten breakfast sandwiches if i’d noticed before placing my order that breakfast is apparently served all day. something to remember next time i’m out that way. bacon egg and cheese biscuit ftw.

a return ticket for the max. it was a beautiful night, orange clouds and gusty winds, unseasonably warm and it wasn’t raining, so i cruised down glisan from gateway transit center again. that is seriously one of my favorite rides in this town.

*i want to do her. gently. forever.
